Linux alternative to Isobuster

Guys,

Anyone know of an Linux app that does the same thing as isobuster?? In case your not familiar with isobuster I use it to extract mpeg data from .bin files.

If anyone knows what tools to use to achieve the same result under Linux i would appreciate it greatly.

Regards,
David

With this kernel module you can mount Goldenhawk-type CD images (.cue/.bin file combos) and copy whatever you want from them. Just grab the .dat file and rename to .mpeg2 (if it's an SVCD) or to .mpeg (if it's a plain VCD).

Thank's hw-tph. I followed the link from your message and when reading that page I realised that I can just use MPlayer to play the mpeg file directly from the .bin file. I tried it and it seems to work fine.

cheers,
Dave

isobuster alternative

i reviewed the reply after googling the same request. I wanted to find something that would play my CD I recently bought from sony. This didn't work with the usual apps. My main objective would be to view both sessions on the CD and possibly back up what i've got in ogg vorbis format. For the record I have no intent to distribute the backed up files.
