Linux 8.0 & Linux 7.0 - can they coexist ?

Hi all,

I am running a Redhat 8.0 (kernel 2.4.18-20). i want to install Redhat 7.0 on the same machine. the problem is ....... the HDD Mount point of Redhat 8.0 is / (root) ...... so what do i make the Mount point of the HDD partition of Redhat 7.0 ?? also ........ the RedHat 7.0 has kernel 2.2 .......will this have any conflict issues ??
....... any help would be appreciated ....
