Unhappy Linux 5.0 will load but what is localhost?

I recently came across several old versions of linux and am totoally new to the OS. I can install 5.0 fine but when I go to run it I'm asked for LOCALHOST/LOCALDOMAIN. I don't know what this means. Help would be appreciated. Thanks

"linux 5.0" - this does not exist.... please give us correct details.

you will not asked for that... i assume you simply are looking at a login prompt, so log in using your user or root details you will have provided during installation.

You should give much more details though. I.e., you're trying to login to the computer? Have you tried to leave "LOCALHOST/LOCALDOMAIN" as is?

- Basically, localhost means the name of your computer. localdomain is a kind of workgroup of computers. If you're not connected with a business network, the default settings should work(?).

ok, so enter the username as root, password as you chose... you do realise that Redhat 5 is what... 6 or 7 years old now? seriously ancient now.
