Well then, better that the OP just stick to Windows to feed his gaming habbit, or becomes cross addicted and goes with Linux Games to try and satify his needs.

Agreed, and in any case that is the hard (wrong?) way to go. Go linux native for the best game experience.

Personally. I like RPG games where the video performance is not much of an issue. There are some native Linux ones that are killer, and when I tire of those I fire up DOSBOX and run any of a gazillion old DOS games that run better in Linux in DOSBOX on modern hardware than they ever did in the 1980s. I will not LIVE long enough to run out of games that are FREE, but if I did there are native Linux games that are GREAT for very reasonable prices.

Politically and environmentally things have been better, but in terms of games we do TODAY live in the BEST of times!
