hey I got limewire up and running!!!!! or I should say YOU got limewire up and running
I still have no steaming joe on the java test page, but really all I needed it for was limewire! I will cross the "java plug in" bridge when I get to it lol . the mistake i was making is editing the path u gave me for my .bash_profile instead of leaving it usr/so on...........
I was changing it to techmaster (being the actual user). I did this becuase another person posted and said thats what I needed 2 do?? he's up top somwhere. Anyway thank you Verry much! Ever need any webdesign/hardware help I'm here 4 u!!!!

No, he was right because he had installed java in his /home directory. What you were supposed to do is change the path he printed to the one thats on your system. You'll find that most people will post things this way so make sure you look carefully at the posts and whats installed on your system and adjust paths accordingly. Anyway I'm glad Limewire is working for you now . Did you test the firefox java plugin?
