Unhappy LimeWire Help! And frostwire.

OK. First things first. I SUCK with computers. So please go easy on with tech mummbo jummbo. Now it seems I have. ASUS Eee PC. Ya know one if those super tiny ones. Now It seems I've downloaded Limewire at least a dozen times and nothing showed up. I think I made a mistake. Now I'm at the Add/Remove Software thing. It;s stuck on 93 percent and is still loading. But the first time I downloaded limewire and and clicked the button on the application > Internet nothing showed up. Kinda bummed out. Is ther something I missed? The same thing happened with frostwire, but I didn't dare try to download it again.

Which Linux distribution are you using?
It has been a while since I installed them, I remember having issues as they required a specific version of java installed as a dependency.
