limewire connection problem!!!
hi guys ..sorry for disturbance, but i am having a little prob. here and hoping that u can help ..i am using a [B]double operating system winxp and mandriva 2006.Connect to the internet through a router D-link G624.
I was using p2p software (limewire) without any problem till my system crashed and i had to re-install everything .
After i regained my system back , limewire couldnt connect to internet (gives no error messages in the konsole)...
It connect so easily from the winxp so i dont think its a router issue...I tried a lot of stuff i upgraded my java ..upgraded my limewire ...removed both and reinstalled them ...disabled my router firewall ...enabled my Upnp ...
I almost spent about the last 48 hours that subject searching and trying different tricks but nothing worked for me ...Anybody here had any suggestions ...Thanks for help

You probably have a firewall somewhere blocking Limewire. Maybe Mandriva has a software firewall enabled by default that you'll need to configure or disable.
Or if you think Limewire is broken try Frostwire.
