LILO setting with two SCSI harddisks
Dear all,
I'm a newbie in Linux, and recently I've been assigned a task to setup my linux server for both testing and production backup purpose. Since I have a few SCSI slots on the server, I put a development SCSI harddisk (sda) and default boot up for development purpose. I put another cloned production SCSI harddisk (sdb) to be boot up in case of disastrous recovery. I think LILO should do the job and allow me to choose which harddisk to boot from. But I do not quite know how to config the LILO. Could somebody gives me some tips or show me which article to refer to. Thanks a lot. Annie |

You configure a scsi disk just the same as an IDE disk. The only thing that is different is the device name. I am not certain but I think that sda is /dev/scd0 and sdb is /dev/scd1. ___________________________________ Be prepared.
