LILO installation problems

I am brand new to Linux, so bear with me please

I'm installing Mandrake Linux 10.0. I am at the installation part where it's installing the bootloader. I tried GRUB, but I am too inexperienced to know how to work with the command prompt to setup. So, I'm trying to work with the other option... LILO with graphical menu.

Here are the options I have to set:
Boot Device
Delay before booting default image
(checkbox) Enable ACPI
(checkbox) Force No APIC

I have tried EVERYTHING. However, I keep getting the following error:

An error occurred
lilo failed: Syntax error.

Can somebody please help me figure out what I'm doing wrong? Thanks.
