Hi all
While installing RedHat7.1 linux on PIII instead of showing the option, where to write lilo it showed error that the cylinder is larger than 1024 and so can be booted from floppy only.
Please help me to solve this problem..
Your windows partition is too large. linux needs (well rh71 does) a /boot partition located within the first 8.4gb of the drive. This question gets answered every other day, please search this forum for more info
The latest version of LILO doesn't have this problem anymore, and I would have thought that they would be shipping this with RH 7.1... Can anyone confirm this??

cheers
Jamie...
Not sure, but I've seen lots of posts about the same thing with RH7.x so it looks like they use an older version of lilo.
