lilo boot problem 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99

I was trying to resize my system disk and used dd to restore from image, now I am facing some boot problems, the screen is filled with 99 99 99 99 99 99 and freezes there, since I can't turn on the system now, I am using another computer to read the files, my /etc/lilo.conf looks like this:
Code:
# LILO configuration file
# generated by 'liloconfig'
#
# Start LILO global section
boot = /dev/sda
default = linux
compact
prompt
timeout = 100
# Override dangerous defaults that rewrite the partition table:
change-rules
  reset
bitmap = /boot/bitmap/boot.bmp
# Normal VGA console
vga = normal
# VESA framebuffer console @ 1024x768x64k
# vga=791
# VESA framebuffer console @ 1024x768x32k
# vga=790
# VESA framebuffer console @ 1024x768x256
# vga=773
# VESA framebuffer console @ 800x600x64k
# vga=788
# VESA framebuffer console @ 800x600x32k
# vga=787
# VESA framebuffer console @ 800x600x256
# vga=771
# VESA framebuffer console @ 640x480x64k
# vga=785
# VESA framebuffer console @ 640x480x32k
# vga=784
# VESA framebuffer console @ 640x480x256
# vga=769

# End LILO global section
# Partition 1: Linux GUI mode
image = /boot/vmlinuz
    root = /dev/sda1
    label = linux
    append = " "
    read-only

# Partition 2: Linux TUI mode
image = /boot/vmlinuz
    root = /dev/sda1
    label = linux-tui
    append = "2  "
    read-only

# Partition 3: Linux GUI mode
image = /boot/vmlinuz
    root = /dev/sda1
    label = linux-gui
    append = "4  "
    read-only
I have note changed the sda1,2,3 paths but only the sizes, what is the problem here?
Thanks,
Ted

Boot up Slackware's cd/dvd and do this

Code:
huge.s root=/dev/sda1 rdinit= ro

when it boots and all is well run lilo and lilo should fix itself.
Code:
lilo
