Light GTK and CLI software to handle Contacts?

Hi, I would like to find a cool solution to handle Contacts, with a backend and frontend. abook is only cli. Osmo is light but has no backend.

Would you eventually know another cool alternative from the repositories of debian stable?
thanks

If you're not afraid of emacs, try bbdb. Or you can do a free form text file like in this link.
