Question Light, CLI-based SIP client?

Hello

I'd like to run a small SIP client on an ARM-based Linux/Debian appliance that would check if I have any emails in a couple of POP3 mailboxes, and ring my cellphone when I do. This is a free alternative to sending SMS messages.

I checked the page on Wikipedia, but all the open-source clients seem to be GUI-based.

Does someone of a CLI-base client that I could use just for scripting?

Thank you.

Hi...

Would this one work? There is also a manual for it here.

Regards...

Linphone has a command line version (linphone-nogtk package) that works well (i even saw it in action on a Raspberry Pi).

Thanks for the links.

It appears that PJSIP isn't available for Debian Arm, although it might be cross-compiled.

OTHO, Linphone-nogtk is already available for that platform. I'll check it out first.
