Liferea

I would like to follow a list on http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo so I installed Liferea. What do I need to feed Liferea to follow a list?

well you don't, those are mailing lists, not news feeds. you just have the emails sent to you. You subscribe, they email you.

Liferea reads RSS feeds, not Usenet newsgroups and mailing lists.

Ok but that doesn't change that you can't follow the gnome mailing list in a newsreader right?

Correct. A mailing list is email, though some mailing lists also pipe their contents into newsgroups or forums, but that is relatively rare and is at the discretion of the list owner.

Creating a filter for it in your email client might be the best strategy. That's what I do with my lists.
