libstdc++.so.5 in RHEL 5


Hi.

I tried installing firefox 2.04 build into my system
a RHEL 5..
after installation tried to run it..
it showed dependency issue

" libstdc++.so.5 " not found..

can any one tell me how to install it in RHEL 5 ?
*pls dont give the solution in terms of fedora

libstdc++.so.5 is included in the package called compat-libstdc++-33. All you have to do is find the package on the RHEL 5 install media and install it using the "rpm -ivh" command.

(I double-checked using the RHEL 5 machine at work.)

I got the above after installing..
can i say now its installed??

Its installed. You were just being warned that the package you were installing is not signed or the gpg key used to sign it is not on your system.
