libstdc++6, amsn

Hi all, I've been trying to install amsn for awhile now but it tells me I need a newer version of libstcc++. I tried downloading it from debians packaging site but it seems to be down. So I downloaded the .rpm from a site and converted it to a .deb file using alien. When I tried install that I get this:

(Reading database ... 87214 files and directories currently installed.)
Unpacking libstdc++ (from lib.deb) ...
dpkg: error processing lib.deb (--install):
trying to overwrite `/usr/lib/libstdc++.so.6', which is also in package libstdc++6
Errors were encountered while processing:
lib.deb

Any ideas?

P.S. I'm running ubuntu breezy and I renamed the file to make it easier to type.

You shouldn't have to overwrite a package that you already have, there could be an issue with the amsn package. You only need tcl & tk to run it. The package shouldn't be overwriting such files like libstdc++6, your package might be corrupt. Download the package from amsn.sourceforge.net

Ok, thanx. I went to the site and stumbled upon a version that doesn't require libstdc++ to run so it's all gravy from here.
