LibreOffice in Ubuntu 11.10: greek letters?

1 Attachment(s)
Hello @all,

recently I installed Ubuntu 11.10, and noticed, that LibreOffice appeared with Greek letters (s. attachments) (although my system language is English). Does anyone know a reason for it? How can I switch back to the English/Latin letters?

Thanks in advance,
Andrey

Setting languages

Hey,

Here is what I can offer.

1.Use the options tab in libre office, language settings, languages.

http://www.taming-openoffice-org.com...te/?page_id=62

2.Try to locate the language pack for libre office and delete it or just the greek package.

I hope this helps.

Greek font in LibreOffice

Hello @all,

I have searched in Internet and found a solution. The default font was set to "Symbols". After changing to "Dejavu Sans" everything looks OK.

To change/check the setting, go to "Advanced Settings"->"Font" (in GNOME).

Regards,
Andrey
