I need a formula in libreoffice calc, that would give C1 value "T" if B1 is somewhere in column D.
B1 is text.

HOW!!! did you fix that problem?!?

oki. (perhaps offtopic because its not really linux-specific)
this is how I solved it:
=VLOOKUP(B1,Sheet3.$E$1:Sheet3.$F$108,2,0)

B1 is the cell which value is 'looked up' in a table E1-F108.
when calc finds match for B1 in column E (in sheet3), it looks at corresponding value in 2nd row (F) and returns that value.
if it cannot find match, it returns 0.

I'm using Debian, but its probably the same in every Libreoffice out there, even on Windows, (and I think in Excel too).
