Libre Office Writer Auto-correct list can no longer be replaced with custom one.
Libre Office Writer AutoCorrect Replacement list can no longer be replaced with custom one. This is enormously important to me. When we look at Paths, among AutoCorrect options, it seems the Replacement Table can be located, stored as backup in the same directory and replaced by my own custom list saved and used this way for years, upgraded everytime i used the word-processor. It was bliss.
Note: when i open that so-called Path to the Replacement Table, checking all the files recursively ... there ***is*** none!! This is not the true path to the actual item! I'm an author, not a coder who can penetrate this!
All i had to do to type Consciousness was cn+spacebar; holographic was hg+spacebar; everyone was eo+spacebar. Hundreds of these terms came to me naturally, and more happily by far than typing. The spacebar has to be used between words anyhow and my spelling is fine. The Replacement Table was more or less only needed for this startlngly nice innovation. And i so long to continue using that.
Another thing about this: i don't want the hard coercion to use the Australian Replacement Table and UK-en Spellchecker just because i live in Australia, when i want to write American English. This matter is in Language Settings of the Tools/Options. Either i have to settle for American date system, or the Relacement Table and Spellchecker will keep reverting to the Australian one. So i have to use the wrong Locale for bigger advantages.
And unless i find out how to replace the Replacement Table, i'll have to laboriously rebuild one, word by word ... until i upgrade OS and lose it all again. This is stupid and unacceptable. These things should be addressed by our wonderful coders ... but i don't know the logistics of addressing them.
Anyhow, it will be astronomically nice to replace the Replacement Table, and your help authentically ... will bring back gratitude and more love for Linux and "the good heart" at large. Thank you right now.
I hope you can see the power of how i use the Replacement Table. It's a much greater tool than one for changing a few typos and misspellings. There again, i should inform the programmers, but don't know how. It's not a bug. I owe a lot more to Linux than $ donations.
