Library requirements for Evolution 2.4

Hi
I have FC4 installed on my machine. My libegroupware problem has been resolved. Now, I came to know that I will first have to install Evolution exchange for upgrading Evolution. When I am trying to install Evolution Exchange by ./configure, then I get following error message:

configure: error: Evolution development libraries not installed

Then, I tried to install libraries but got the message that these are already installed on my machine. Is there any environment variable that I will have to set? Please guide.
Thanks.

in a nutshell, your version of libegroupwise is out of date.

Without wanting to go off on a tangent, this is what you get when you leave the Fedora package manager and go off installing from source. My advice would be to wait until Fedora updates its packages to Evolution 2.4.

The alternative would be to search for the latest sources for libegroupwise (>= 1.3.1) and compile those first, but its quite likely that then you'll also have to manually compile camel-provider and libedataserver. God knows what dependencies those have... Good luck! (no sarcasm intented)
