Library files
To all you nice people out there, HELPPPPPPP! Can someone please tell me where I can find the library file libstdc++.so.4(GLIBCPP_3.1) from. I have installed libstdc++.so.4 but there aint no sign of this elusive little toad. I need it for my nieces everybuddy package (and apparently a lot of other things too.)
Next, does anyone know how to get Kmail to receive my e-mails? It accepts test mail sent from my isp demon.co.uk but is determined not to let anything else through. I've tried all the help pages and reconfigured till I'm blue in the face (well slightly green anyway), but nothing. and lastly, why can't I play midi files on Kmid. Before some types RFTM, I have tried all the help pages I can find, and guess what. they didn't help. Your expertise would be gratefully appreciated. Cheers. |
Use the search, Luke!
If none of these relate to your problem, please share with us some information about your distribution of choice - makes it much easier for us since most configuration/installation problems are distro-specific. Cheers, Tink |
Cheers Tinkster. Typical beginner, ask questions but don't supply the right amount of info. If it's any help, I'm running SuSe 8.0. I did find some useful ideas on search so I'll try them out, but if you have any more helpful hints or suggestions they would be greatly received.
Please excuse a twonk of a beginner. agp. |
Welp ... the most likely thing is that you didn't install
the rpm that holds that shared library ... you should be able to query Yast which packet owns the file... most likely it's one of the gcc or other development ones. Cheers, Tink |
