library dependency problem

Hi All,

I am trying to install policy agent for apache. The install went fine but when trying to restart, getting the following error. I am using RHEL AS 4 which is supported according to release notes for policy agent 2.2.

[root@host1 bin]# ./httpd -k stop
Syntax error on line 1 of /opt/Apache/conf/dsame.conf:
Cannot load /opt/web_agents/apache22_agent/lib/libamapc22.so into server: /opt/web_agents/apache22_agent/lib/libamapc22.so: undefined symbol: ap_run_http_scheme

Please help.

What version of apache you're running? Because this symbol name is from apache 2.2. In previous versions it was named ap_run_http_method.
I guess you have to upgrade apache to version 2.2.x for this to work.

regards

So you have to upgrade apache version to 2.2.x, or use an older version of Policy Agent.

Regarding Sun's server products, you should read first of all the Release Notes. Everything you should know prior installing and using such software it's written there.
BTW you can use the Sun Java Web Server as a web container to deploy Policy Agent if you want. It's easy to setup and also has a gui for administration.
