I have a fresh install of Fedora Core 5 box and video successfully sent out my S-Video cable to my television by way of my NVidia card. I plan on turning it into a MythTV box so I've been going off of the famous Jarod Wilson's "Fedora Myth(TV)ology" tutorial.

I made it up to step 13, "Set Up MythTV" without error. However, when I enter "mythtvsetup" at the terminal I get:

mythtvsetup: error while loading shared libraries: /usr/lib/libmythavcodec-0.19.so.0: cannot restore segment prot after reloc: Permission denied.

I receive this whether I am logged in as root or as the mythtv user. I've checked and the file is in fact there. I'll admit I'm relatively new to Linux and I cannot find an answer to this anywhere. Any help would be appreciated!

Is there a /etc/sysconfig/selinux file in your system? If so, you can change it like so:
