Libinput-gestures problems - GalliumOS (Xubuntu 18.04)

Lenovo 100S chromebook

LSPCI output here: https://pastebin.com/ZBv6kW8X

Running GalliumOS 3.0 which is basically Xubuntu 18.04 optimized for chromebooks.

First off, I've installed libinput-gestures and the palm protect feature isn't working, where the touchpad becomes disabled while typing. How do I enable this?

Second, when I open the terminal I have this error at the top:

property 'libinput Accel Speed' doesn't exist, you need to specify its type and format

I've checked home/user/libinput-gestures/libinput-gestures.conf and I don't see an option for this. How do I fix this error?

Please always tell us the whole story; where did you get the commands & edits to affect changes, what exactly did you change, what is the FULL output of commands (always including the command itself).
Etc.

First of all, what command did you add to .bashrc or .profile or some similar file that makes this error pop up every time you open a terminal?
You probably put it in the wrong place.

Then, we have to find out what hardware/driver you actually have in there and if libinput can deal with it properly.
Let's start with this.

I will run that command to determine TouchPad type and driver. I thought it was in that output I pasted but it isn't...

Regarding what did I do, I clean installed galliumos 3.0 and installed this verbatim to the github instructions afaik.

How do I 100% remove libinput and all of its config files so I can start clean?

What's "this"? There's no link to any github instructions in your posts.

And why would you want to do that?

Your "Elan Touchpad" seems to be pretty configurable under libinput; Maybe you should stick with libinput then (*).
"Accel Speed" does not seem to exist, but many other options do.

(*) It used to be so that the synaptics driver - which your touchpad is compatible with - was usually much more confgurable than libinput.

Don't worry about it. I'll figure it out.
