Hi,
Which distribution are you using this on? I notice both Fedora and Suse on your nametag. Also, what version xorg are you running? You can get that info from "/var/log/xorg.0.log". And please check this file for warnings (WW) and errors (EE).
Also, can you please post your "/etc/X11/xorg.conf" file?
Sam

If you haven't done so, you should install your ATI proprietary 3D drivers.
Can you also post your xorg.conf file?

I've already installed the ATI drivers, but here is my xorg.conf file. I had beryl beryl working before but I decided to try compiz with it and that's when it screwed up. Whenever beryl ran, compiz would load and I would be missing all of the window decorations and the task bar. That is when I reinstalled everything and I am now getting these errors.

Ok, thanks for that post. From what I can gather, you seem to have multiple redundant option entries concerning your card, and none of them enabling the composite feature. It also doesn't mention your ati card version, so it looks like sax isn't recognizing it.
Also, unless your user account is part of the "video" group (which it's not in default suse configurations), I'd change the bottommost setting to Mode 0666, and remove the 'Group "Video"', that way all users have permissions to access DRI.
What I would do, though, is move this xorg.conf file to a backup location, and see if running "aticonfig" can generate a usable xorg.conf for you. I don't personally own an ati card, so I'm just going by the instructions from the site to generate a new config file.
