okay, still have a problem - posted about this before but didnt get any real helpful... help.

booting RH8 on one HD, only drive, only OS. i messed something up in my LILO config, being nosy, and now it hangs at LI. ive actually done this before but with help from the forums have fixed it, though i cant remember how.

i have my RH8 CDs and can boot into linux rescue mode and get a prompt. how do i restore my LILO config to working order OR make grub my working bootloader (everyone says its better anyway?)

i tried playing with my lilo.conf file, but i had to use emacs and have no idea how to save or exit or anything in emacs so that was bloody and unproductive. so anyway...

hmm, nevermind, i fixed it. i couldnt figure out how to fix lilo so i just figured out how to install grub instead
