Lexmark E232 Laser on Mandriva 2006

I was able to track down a post on LQ regarding my issue, but I was still unable to get my printer working.

I have the Lexmark E232 laser printer connected via USB (tested with parallel), which is supplied with linux drivers. However, the drivers do not work.

Although my printer is recognized by Mandriva, I am still unable to get my printer printing. As indicated in other posts on LQ, the printer is PCL6 based. However, I can't get any PCL6 drivers to work.

Has anyone had problems with either the E232 or PCL6 lasers in general on a Mandrake/Mandriva platform?
