Leafpad system sounds audacity

I was recording off an internet stream with audacity and also using leafpad.

If a search in leafpad finds nothing, then leafpad gives a loud ping.

The ping was recorded. Yuk.

Any help appreciated.

Is'nt leafpad an ... editor? What's the question here?
Use some (more) English words to pad the question.
Audacity, okay, that's audio, but where does leafpad fit into this?

While recording from the internet with audacity I was ALSO using leafpad. When I did a search wthin the text of the leafpad document (using the find function of leafpad) ie WHILE using leafpad, the find found nothing (ie returned a nullity) and therefore leafpad did a loud PING. The PING was recorded by audacity. YUK.
