lba32 in lilo.conf

Hi!

I was wondering, how exactly do I add the line lba32 to /etc/lilo.conf ???
I just wrote it like that but lilo complained.

I need to now the exact syntax.

Thanks!!!

just add it in the first few lines, in amongst the prompt, timeout, default=linux and such. then run "lilo" as root

You should just put it on its own line in the global section, or you can have a look in your bios for an option the set the drive as lba.

If the lilo.conf has the word "linear" in it and if you put "lba32" then it will show a conflict if you run lilo

so delet linear and add lba32
