lba32 in lilo.conf
Hi!
I was wondering, how exactly do I add the line lba32 to /etc/lilo.conf ??? I just wrote it like that but lilo complained. I need to now the exact syntax. Thanks!!! |
Just like you wrote it
!! lba32 |
just add it in the first few lines, in amongst the prompt, timeout, default=linux and such. then run "lilo" as root
|
You should just put it on its own line in the global section, or you can have a look in your bios for an option the set the drive as lba.
|
If the lilo.conf has the word "linear" in it and if you put "lba32" then it will show a conflict if you run lilo
so delet linear and add lba32 |
