Launching problem

I have a really weird problem.. I was using ePSXe but something happened and I had to change my version.. So I downloaded the other version. Put it in the /usr/local/games directory, and copied all the nessecary files..

All these days, I was using a script, stored in /usr/local/bin, to open epsxe, throu the "Alt+F2" => Not having to use a console!
But after I have changed my version I couldnt do that anymore, even when I changed the configurations of the script.. So, I was angry... I went to the epsxe directory.. Found the epsxe binary... Tried to open it with "double-click" like NORMAL, but it WOULDNT open >:
I altered all its permissions to "rwx" and the owner to my normal user.. So I tried to open it with the same way, still nothing!
I typed the script name in my terminal, and it opened. I went to the epsxe directory , typed ./epsxe, and it opened! But I cant seem to open it , outside of the terminal..
Whats the problem?
