Launch Yahoo Music Videos Script No Longer Works

I had been using the script at the following link for the last several months to watch yahoo music videos, but it seems to have stopped working:

http://www.linuxforums.org/forum/topic-37377.html

Is anyone still able to use this method?

i came here to ask the same question, but for me i have never been able to get it to work. i installed scriptmonkey and all that stuff, but i can never get it to play. at first it would play a split second of sound and then stop, no picture. now it just displays "initializing" and stops there.

hi the new string is

http://launchtoday.launch.yahoo.com/...ialog.asp?vid=$videoid&bw=$bandwidth&mf=1&pid=5&ps=1&p1=2&p2=21&p3=2&rpid=35&pv=10&bp=Windows NT&csid=396500551&uid=1650960123&pguid=NdTtxUqWqkvMIGad6e10IA&etid=0&uguid=6244b2t154hs7&fcv=&z=ms.a sx

The script should work ok. Lately I was using pklaunch with greasemonkey

Let me know if this helped

i tried it in the script but it t doesn't work. i also tried that string in the browser (after filling in the values of videoid & bandwidth) and get the same error as before:

Microsoft JScript runtime error '800a138f'

'undefined' is null or not an object

/common/includes/asp/common_streamabusing.asp, line 9

jlo_sandog:

that did the trick, thanks!

i had some problems at first but after updating to the latest releases of firefox, mplayer & mplayer-plugin it's working.

for the record, here's the releases of each component that comprise a working configuration for fedora core 3:

greasemonkey extension 0.5.3 (installs directly from their web-site)
pklaunch-0.6rc3.user.js (install per instructions)
firefox-1.0.7.installer.tar.gz
mplayer-1.0pre8-0.1.20051019.i386.rpm
mplayerplug-in-3.11-fc3.i386.rpm
