Does anybody know, whether it is possible to create greek symbols with accents (in order to write ancient greek) and if there is a command for a u with an o over it, just like å = \o or \o{o}, because \o{u} does not work...

I have solved the problem with greek symbols:

\usepackage[english, greek]{babel} in the preamble and then

\textgreek{...}, where ... is a text given in roman letters, but where ' means accent in front of a vocal...

The problem with o on u still exists...
