Laptop scroll direction in KDE is stuck on horizontal

On my iBook Clamshell, I'm using mouseemu to enable emulation of scrolling. It scrolls vertically on non-KDE programs (such as aterm, OpenOffice.org, etc.) but it's stuck on horizontal on KDE (I think it was ever since I tried to scroll horizontally, which means nothing in other programs). Rebooting didn't help.

go into the kde control center and reconfiguer the mouse. if that does not work let me know we will put in the /etc/xorg.conf file this option in the the mouse input.( Option "ZAxisMapping" "4 5 6 7" )
6an7 goes left and right 4 and 5 goes up and down. most of the newer xorg do not need this.. way is to do a xorgsetup with out the windows running. do not for get kde has what we call mouse oh I dont know the word but it remebers mouse strokes so reconfigure kde first.

I figured it out: Because I was using mouseemu to make alt+mouse move emulate vertical scrolling, and because in KDE, scrolling with alt makes horizontal scroll, that was the only type of scroll available to me. I set my scroll key from alt (the default) to the Apple/Windows/Super key (keycode 125 as indicated by showkey), and now I can scroll horizontally.
