I've searched around the forum and seen a similar question asked several times, but haven't found an answer that really helps. I have an IBM T41 laptop, and neither Tech. Support nor any website I can find gives the horizontal and vertical sync rates and refresh rates so that I can successfully configure my ATI driver to get hardware acceleration. If these numbers aren't available, do I just use the lowest numbers on the list? I'd just start guessing, but I don't want to damage my screen. Thanks.
Ok, I've done that for now, but I see now that xvidtune just gives me the values that I'm currently using (the defaults for Slackware, I assume). That's good since they work now, but is there any way of determining the real numbers?
