Angry LAN-Messenger for both windows and Linux


Hi,

Kindly let me know if there is a lan messenger which supports both Linux and windows OS simultanesouly.

Linpopup

Hi,
There is a tool called as Linpopup for sending message through lan both in linux and windows machines.
UIn debian machines you can use the comman apt-get install linpopup

you might like to look at a full on GPL IM solution like Jabber also.

Yeah we've got a good little LAN IM system going with a Jabber server on one of the Linux boxes and Gaim (which supports Jabber, MSN, ICQ, AOL etc.) on both the Windows and Linux boxes. Its all free and open source software.

I have using "Output Messenger" for internal team communication it's has many similar features p2p chat, group chat, audio chat, video chat, document sharing etc..,, it's available for Windows, Mac, Linux, iOS & Android
