LAMP Reporting Service

I absolutely love the speed at which I can setup the environment and being developing web applications using LAMP. The one area that has been really lacking for me though is open source reporting functionality. There are a lot of commercial options such as Microsoft Reporting Services, Crystal Reports, or Oracle Reports. Are there any open source reporting services supported by LAMP? Thanks.

Will either of those work with just a standard LAMP install or would they require additional overhead like their own Java web server etc?

not a clue.. you're going to have to do the leg work on that part unless someone else here knows..
