Kylix 3.0 displays logo and hangs when startbcb is executed

I installed Kylix 3 Open Edition. The installation was just perfect, no warnings, etc.
I tried to run startdelphi and application starts without any problems. But when i try to run startbcb it displays Kyles3 logo, and hangs. No messages in command line, no other windows displayed. It leaves me only with Ctrl+C, after which i get the following:
$ ./startbcb
./startbcb: line 25: 22613 Terminated /home/mistreated/kylix3/bin/bcblin $*

Does someone experienced common problems?

It is difficult getting Kylix to run on 2.6 kernels. I have not tried patching so know actual experience but here is the link:

Thank you for the answer, and sorry for delayed reply. Unfortunately patched doesn't changed the situation. Still doesn't work, but thanks anyway.
