I am using Mandrake 9.0 and my Epson Stylus Colour 670 was installed quickly and easily, I have even succesfully printed out the test pages but when I attempt to print something out in kword I receive the following error message;

"An error occurred while retrieving the printer list.
client-error-not-found."

This error message also appears when I try and print from other applications e.g. kspread.

I have now reinstalled my printer but now I get this rather worrying message;

A print error occurred. Error message recieved from system:
/usr//bin/lpr -p 'lp' '-#1' '/tmp/kde-peter/kdeprint_Wu8b9w2': execution failed with message:

lpr-unable to print file: client-error-not found

Thanks in advance. I'm going to try upgrading to 9.1, hopefully that should fix it?

I had installed it using the mandrake control panel but I've found that I had to install it on kde too. I only had to find an icon.
