kubutu ATI 9800 pro in cedega choppy

I took the time to install cedega 4.4.1 as well as install the drivers for my ATI 9800 Pro (in that order) today in hopes that Guild Wars might be playable. When it run GW it looks as though its being software rendered and excruciatingly slow at that. According to a database at GW is supposed to be supported fairly well. It is obvious that my video drivers are not working properly. Can I get some ideas on how to correct this problem.

Once again I idiotically installed my video drivers after. Other than doing the cedega cvs is their another way I might go about correcting this problem? Thanks.
