Krusader problem
I have a problem using Krusader editor for modifying config files in /etc
It is probably due to /etc being owned by root.
Even though the config file and its conf~ backup are both owned by normal user, each time I edit it with Krusader builtin editor, there are some lines appended automatically. This problem does not occur if gedit is used, for example. Also it didn't occur until few past months.
I'm using latest Debian testing amd64, lxde, Krusader v2.4.0-beta3
Is there a way to fix it?
Thanks.

It might help to know what lines are appended. Can you show us a before & after of a given file that illustrates your problem.

I don't use krusader so I can't test it myself. You might check out krusader bug reports and try reinstalling it to see if the problem persists.
