krfb / vnc Use compression or not

I use KDE remote desktop access (krfb) and client to access remote desktops, and act like "help desk" in certain occasions.

I usually use it over a ssh tunnel:
Code:
ssh -C -c blowfish -L 5901:localhost:5900 user@host
And connecting the "client" to localhost:5901

I was wondering:

I don't actually know if kfrd uses compression or not. Is there any place (config file...) to look for the fine tunning?
Cos' if I already use a compressed tunnel ssh -C) really there is no need to compress vnc data too. Am I right?

Regards,
Matías
