kqemu error (The reply in this is mine still require help)
 

I have purchased Win4Lin Pro for the one application I need that won't work under linux (someone please tell me if there is a native one as I would prefer it).

Basically i'm presuming I need to add this support because the mouse is very lagged. It was OK with Win2K installed on it but since putting on WinXP which is supported in the latest version the mouse is about half a second behind and is very irritating.

Anyway I have to type this:

and I get the following result.

As far as I can figure it's looking for a different kernel source than I have installed, (mine is 2.6.11.4-20050407134854-default and I have never figured out how to match the source properly or how to install it. Am I on the right track?

Forgot to mention, the applciation this is all hopefully going to make work is Epson Print CD. I have an R210 Printer and the latest drivers installed with support for the CD Tray. The application itself does install under wine but does not print as it is USB. This method gives me two workarounds that I can think of, a) network printing to the USB shared printer, or b) printing to a pdf or postscript file first. Wine is supposed to print postscript but I couldn't get it to do that.

You need to have the kernel sources installed in order for the kqemu install script to work... It'll be about a 40MB download, unless you've got it on your install CD's.


Make CERTAIN you install the SAME kernel source version as the kernel you're running.
