Kpilot Canlendar? Other Palm calendar sync?

What are you guys who have Palms (I have a Treo 700p) doing for calendars?

I currently use the default calendar app on my Treo, but would really like to sync it with some desktop app like Sunbird or, even better, to a web-based view. Obviously, to sync to a public web view, I'd do a lot of custom coding... but... any ideas, specifically in relation to syncing to something web-based?

I was addressing this issue and put it on the back burner so I could deal with bigger fish. Since you asked for ideas, not proven methods, this is what I came up with (in my head). Install a WebDAV calendar application on the most accessible box (probably your desktop). Then you can have clients (laptop/umpc/pda) synch with the calendar over either an intranet (i.e. your home network) or secured over the Internet. BTW in this implementation the desktop would connect to itself that way the data is shared and replicated across all platforms. Again, researched this but never implemented it.

Good luck!

Interesting idea. I guess the biggest part is figuring out how to build a conduit for KPilot (or hack apart an existing one). Once that's done, I guess I could just translate it to XML and deal with it.

Realistically, it's just as easy (for me) once I get the data from the Palm as XML, to just upload it to a web server and use web-based calendaring everywhere but on the phone. I guess the only issue is figuring out how to handle diff'ing the calendar (i.e. figuring out what was deleted where, and getting a consistent copy handling both new and removed items from both the phone and the web).
