Korganizer 3.5.10 crashes with remote files only

After updating to Slackware 12.2 (kernel 2.6.27.7-smp), everything so far works fine.

However, Korganizer crashes immediately when working with remote files.
It does not happen, though, with local files.

How to go about figuring out what may be wrong?

I guess instead of trying to fix it, I should just move on to KDE 4.x
