Kopete not starting
 

Kopete won't start!! I think it has something to do with it's association with Kwallet.

Anyway, this is a relatively fresh install of Fedora Core 3, and everything is updated. When I log in as my user, and try to start Kopete, I get the tray icon, but it is gray, and when i check processes I see

kdeinit: klauncher
kopete


They all show status: sleeping


When I log in as root, I can run kopete no problems.

I was able to get it working once by going into ~/.kde/share/apps/ and deleting /kwallet and it's contents. Now it does not affect the problem.

I'm thinking it's a problem with Kopete making a call to kwallet which isn't responding. How do I remove the association? I'm a noob to Linux, but not a complete computer noob...

What happens when it's executed from the commnd line?
