Hi folks,

I'm running SuSE 9.2, and I want to use Kopete to connect to both my ICQ and MSN messenger accounts.

Both accounts are connecting okay, but I have a problem with the ICQ connection where it doesn't show my contacts online status.

It did show them when I set them up, but now they all have a warning triangle next to them, and when I hover the mouse over them, it says "Status not available". I know most of them are online, but I can't actually see them.

Does anyone know if this is a known problem in Kopete, or if there's something I'm missing?

I never did find the answer to this one, so I've given up on Kopete, and switched over to GAIM now instead, which seems to be working much better (though it does have quirks of its own!).

So I don't really need an answer any more. But I would still be interested if anyone does know.
