wtfisupwithemo LQ Newbie Registered: Oct 2004 Posts: 1 Rep:	Kopete iChat style on SuSE 9.1: help installing I am definatly not an ac=dn=vanced user, and probably shouldn't be using Linux in the first place, but while trying to install the iChat style for kopete i have to extract the files to the programs folder (/opt/kde3/share/apps/kopete/styles/). i dont have permissions to write to this folder. i have the root password, but am not sure how to give myself those permissions. please help! -linux n00b.
