Kopete/Gaim Contact list converter

Does anyone know of a program that will convert a Gaim contact list to a Kopete contact list and vice versa?

I could be wrong here but I think your contact list is tied too the client you use. Example: I have a yahoo messenger id. Using both gaim and kopete, (at different times of course), I signed into my yahoo account using that id and my contact list was right there, accesed by each program. Hope that helps. If not have patience, someone will post with some more info or advice.

Well, in both Kopete and Gaim you can make aliases for you buddies so instead of evilh4x0r@gmail.com you can have "The Hacker".
