Hi

When I click the "View Contacts Webcam" button in kopete nothing happens. I have tried disabling the firewall with no avail. Anyone have any ideas? When I say nothing I mean nothing, no popups or anything. I am using the latest version from the Kubuntu repository.

u need the jasper package, open Adept package manager and search Jasper.
select install and when it's done kopete should be able to use cam functions.

Have you checked your webcam in the compatibality list? not trying to be smart but several of the cams out there have issues with the drivers. I spent several hours getting 3 different cams configured thru kopete and 2 of them had images which were too red even with color correction. The problem you describe has happened to me with various cams.

It is not my webcam, it is the other persons webcam that I am trying to view.
