frankthetank LQ Newbie Registered: Jul 2005 Location: USA- Miami, FL Distribution: Mandriva 2006 Posts: 9 Rep:	Kopete 10.1 messenger and KDE 3.4.1 ok... I decided to give Linux a try- Mandrake 10.0 and have realized that it's an entire different world from windows =/ k.. I want to get the Kopete 10.1 messenger and I understand that I need to update my KDE to 3.4. First of all.. how do I install programs? when I finished downloading, where do i go to install them and once they're installed how do I run them? i feel like an idiot asking this lol someone pleeeeeease help me!!! thanxx!!! -franK
